Our Commitment to Quality
Modern Plastics is ISO CERTIFIED:
ISO 9001:2015 – Certified Quality Management Systems
ISO 13485:2003 – Certified for Medical Devices (Note: September 2018 Modern Plastics advances to ISO 13485:2016)
Our last full audit was conducted in August 2017.
We have been and are regularly audited by some of the most demanding and stringent customers in the world. Often times, our customers or prospective customers, will send in several of their staff members to conduct onsite audits at Modern Plastics.
We’ve never failed an audit, ever.
We are approved by dozens upon dozens of major global orthopedic and spine companies (and medical device manufacturers) for permanently implantable materials; perhaps the highest risk category a company like ours can become approved for.
Customers and suppliers are welcome to visit and audit our facilities at any time.
Contact Kevin Daly, Quality Control Director, to arrange an onsite visit and company tour of our Shelton, Connecticut USA facility.
