HYDEX 4101 UD Blue is specifically designed for the demanding environment of the food processing industry.
HYDEX 4101 UD BLUEFor several years, the industry has been moving towards materials used in equipment design that are detectable in some way; either visually, by metal or x-ray detection, to improve food safety, and reduce the possibility of product contamination.
HYDEX 4101 UD Blue Properties
HYDEX 4101 UD Blue offers visibility for all three detection types with one material.
The product’s specially formulated fillers are detectable to both x-ray and metal detection systems, and its blue coloration is visible to optical inspection systems.
As part of the polyester family, HYDEX 4101 UD Blue exhibits the exceptional physical properties typical of the family, as well as excellent resistance to chlorine and caustic cleaning solutions.
- Resistant to cleaning chemicals
- Food Grade Blue
- Metal detectable
- X-ray opaque
- Good impact strength
- Good dimensional stability
HYDEX 4101 UD Blue is designed to offer users in the food industry three levels of detection; optical, x-ray and metal detection, all with one product. This increases food safety by reducing the possibility of product contamination.
