POLYPROPYLENE – (standard impact) from Modern Plastics is a homopolymer polypropylene and made only from polypropylene resin. This is an economical material with excellent corrosion resistance. Sheets have a thickness tolerance of +/- 10%. Polypropylene is best bonded by plastic welding.

Polypropylene is available in two grades, homopolymer and copolymer. The copolymer adds resins to the polypropylene resin to lower temperature operation range and improve mechanical characteristics. This product is the homopolymer polypropylene. Homopolymer polypropylene possesses excellent resistance to organic solvents and degreasing agents as well as electrolytic attack.
