The product we are currently developing is a a reverse total shoulder replacement. We are searching for highly cross-linked polyethylene (HXLPE) impregnated with Vitamin E for an articulating surface of a humeral liner implant, with the preferred properties of:
– Low wear profile
– Low wear debris
– Biocompatible
Furthermore we could you please answer the following questions to help us with our review?
– Do you machine/mould in-house?
– Can you provide mechanical specifications for this material
– Do you supply directly to us as an OEM or can you supply to sub-contractors?
– Are there limitations in machining the product into its final form and post-processing?
We are interested in modern plastic’s capabilities as a material supplier for the range of shoulder products we are currently manufacturing, and would love the opportunity to engage in a working relationship.
